DESIGN AESTHETICS
I created a series of designs using only lines, points, and planar shapes. The iterations started off simple and monochromatic, using grids and guides to create controlled designs that slowly became more complex with the addition of new design elements. This process helped me study abstract design, color theory, and creating communicative design with minimal elements.

PROCESS WORK
I began with only lines and points on a grid, typically following circular patterns and straight guides.

After iterating with lines and points, planes were introduced as a design element and I abstracted more from the simple circular patterns I started with.

I settled on a final design iteration and began layout out color palettes, studying simple and traditional options for my first few iterations. This included primary colors, analogous colors, and complimentary colors before I began branching out. Finally, I settled on a color palette that best suited my design, and I created a series of abstract pieces using a variety of values, hues, and saturations.
