HAND DRAWN ANIMATION
These are the frame-by-frame animations that I drew digitally by hand. I have always had a deep appreciation for traditional animation and the effort, character, and patience that goes into creating animation like this.
PROCESS WORK
After envisioning what I want to animate, each animation begins with establishing the timing and keyframes. I typically begin setting up timing charts and drawing out any important movement arcs. Tick marks are used to keep track out how many frames I'll need.
After drawing in the initial keyframes, I sketch any necessary in-betweens and test the animation to ensure the timing and movement is correct.
Once all frames are sketched to my liking, I draw the cleaned up lineart and color everything in until the final product is complete.
