JABBER DRAWS ART SHOP
For our senior college project, students were tasked with conceptualizing their own projects and creating design solutions. I settled on the idea to create a functional online shop to sell my designs and drawings on a variety of mediums such as stickers, posters, and t-shirts. I created a brand identity for my shop which I still use today, and I designed a mockup website that showed how users could make purchases. I have been steadily working toward making a name for myself using this brand identity, and I hope to share my designs with people across the globe.
PROCESS WORK
The project began once I settled on my design problem: To create a brand identity and design a website where I could sell my artwork, a project that I had been considering for years at this point. Research began to decide what audience I should target and products I should consider, and design ideation followed.
After submitting my capstone project with a brand identity and a simple website mockup, I began working on this project outside of the restrictions that the prompt placed on me. I've had more time to grow my brand as well as myself, and I began making my product ideas a reality.
I have now committed to establishing my small side business while also maintaining a stable career. I also plan to be more active on social media, utilizing my dedication and marketing skills to expand my reach and broaden my inventory with new crafts and artwork.
