RHINESTAHL OKTOBERFEST CREST

A crest design for the annual Rhinestahl Oktoberfest celebration. I reviewed previous annual crest designs, sketched some ideas, transferred the sketches in Illustrator, considered whether a traditional or modern design would be best before settling on modern, updated crest iterations with the new branding and colors once Rhinestahl updated their branding, and compiled all of the process files for the next co-op who would finish designing the 2019 crest and placing it on marketing materials and collateral for the event.

PROCESS WORK

The process began with an annual company crest that is also used to celebrate the yearly Oktoberfest celebration. Previous year's crests were studied and a multitude of sketches were created before moving into Adobe Illustrator to start coloring and polishing designs. A large number of options were requested before narrowing them down, and the project was passed onto the next co-op to complete once my term ended. The company also went through a complete rebrand, so fundamental colors and design choices had to change halfway through and I was unable to finish the project during my time as a co-op.
